You’ve had a water disaster – now what?

Unless you’ve experienced a water disaster or work in the restoration industry, you understandably may not know what restoration is, or what the process is like.  Our goal is not only be there when you need us, but also to help you understand what to expect after a restoration emergency happens.

Once we receive your emergency call, you can expect us to respond as soon as possible. Many times, your insurance may cover a loss in your home or business. So, it is important that you contact your agent to begin the claims process, if applicable. Once we’ve assessed the damage and explained what we need to do, we will have you sign an authorization form allowing us to start the work. Once you sign the emergency service authorization, a deductible determined by your homeowner policy is payable at that time.

If your loss is covered by your insurance, you will be assigned an adjuster. Once the emergency services are completed, a copy of the mitigation estimate will be sent to both you and your adjuster As professional restorers, we understand the claims process and are experienced in working with insurance companies to get your home or business back to normal.

If your loss is not covered by insurance, you can still expect us to respond to your emergency call, and we are still there for you throughout the process. Whether your loss is covered or not, we understand that it can create a huge inconvenience for you and your family. For that reason, communication throughout the process is of the utmost importance to us as professional restorers. Because each restoration project is dynamic, it is crucial that we communicate with you to help minimize the chaos.

When you’ve had a disaster occur, the last thing you’ll want to worry about is whether the company mitigating the situation is doing all the right things. We would encourage you to ask your friends, family, or insurance agent to recommend someone they know and trust. In addition, you should always read reviews from previous customers if you are considering hiring a restoration company.

At the end of the day, it’s important that you choose a restoration company that you can trust. If you have a disaster caused by water, fire, mold, or sewage, we are available 24/7, and will respond as soon as possible. If you call Absolute Restoration, we’ll be there because “We Absolutely Care!”
